Inspection window

You have 14 calendar days from delivery to inspect and report any issue with a reconditioned tote. Photograph it, email us the order ID and photos, and we'll replace, refund, or credit.

What we cover

  • Tote arrives leaking, valve fails, or cage is damaged beyond what was disclosed.
  • Wash protocol wasn't executed (failed flashlight test, residual odor on a Grade A tote).
  • UN/DOT marking missing where we promised it.
  • Wrong product shipped vs. order.

What we don't cover

  • Damage from your downstream process (overfill, hot fill above 140°F, incompatible chemistry).
  • Wear from normal cycling after first use.
  • Damage from improper stacking (max 2 high loaded).
  • UV degradation from outdoor storage beyond ~24 months.

Return for non-defect

Bought a tote that doesn't suit your application but is functionally fine? We'll take it back within 14 days for a 15% restocking fee, plus you cover return freight. Sometimes it's cheaper to keep the tote and find a use (rain catcher, planter — see our repurposed goods).

Beyond 14 days

We aren't shy about helping after the window closes. If a tote fails in a way that isn't your fault, email us. We won't always replace but we'll often credit toward your next order.

New tote warranty

New totes carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1 year on cage, 6 months on bottle). We'll administer the claim on your behalf.

We don't have a long warranty document. The short version: if something arrives wrong or fails sooner than it should, we make it right. Below: how that works in practice.

§ 01

What we cover

Damage in transit. If a tote arrives cracked, leaking, or with broken cage welds, we replace or refund. Email photos within 5 days of receipt.

Mis-graded. If a tote ships as Grade B but the residue test fails, we replace or refund. Same 5-day window.

Early bottle failure. If a Grade A or B bottle fails (crack, outlet boss failure) within 90 days of receipt under normal use, we replace.

§ 02

What we don't cover

Damage from misuse (over-temperature, pressurization, chemistry outside HDPE compatibility), normal wear-and-tear after 90 days, or repurposed-goods modifications beyond what we supplied.
